The Modern State (the PAPER project)

On 10 September the “4che” studio (Sergey Arnautov, Natalia Voynich and the author of the special project for the “Headquarters” magazine – Oleg Arnautov), were basking in the Indian summer sun, tired but satisfied, having completed the installation of the “Modern State” on the shore of the Klyazma water storage pond. Another participant of the project – Lena Smirnova at the time was warming up somewhere in Europe…

Oleg Arnautov: “As for the ARTKlyazma festival, we made it our principle and set it as a task for ourselves to be serious. The construction – chilly, slightly stiff and more coming from the intellect – contrasted with the general fun-making mood there.
