“A fir-tree or a portrait of the year”

An art-project by Viktor Skopets which he had been making during the whole year 2006.

“A year is like a tree – it grows out of a second just like out of a small seed, blossoms out with the leaves of days, flowers with holidays. A new day emerges on a branch-month snow-white, clean as a sheet of paper and comes to look the way we paint it – in colors of joy or sorrow, sadness or mirth, week-days or a holiday”.
